COMMERCIAL RELEASE The Migs - Northern Run 2003
Surf / Instrumental
Back in the early 1960s, Dick Dale pioneered a style of instrumental music that was mid-eastern influenced, and used reverb on the guitar. You have probably heard Dick Dale's music, even if you don't recognize the name. His music was used for the Phillips Flat Screen TV commercial, Domino's Pizza, ... His music was used as the opening track in the Pulp Fiction movie.
The Migs - Northern Run 2003
This mini CD (4 tracks) used 3 of my tracks from 2 different venues in Los Angeles, California. I record most of The Migs Southern California performances for their audio archive.
I received a call from Bernard asking for tracks a few days before they were about to go on tour in Northern California. So, plugged my Sony TC-D5M into my computer, created some WAV files, and then uploaded them to my web site. Bernard was then able to download the WAV files and do the rest of the processing to be able to have the CD ready for their tour.
This recording was done with my trusty Sony TC-D5M and a pair of Audio-Technica AT801 microphones on stage.
